The Institute for Public Relations selected Jared Stonesifer (A&S ’07), head of external communications and media relations in the Office of University Communications and Marketing, to join IPR ELEVATE, a diverse and select membership community of upper mid-level to senior-level professionals who are catalysts for growth, change and advancement.
The membership community offers engagement opportunities for communication leaders who are passionate about the research-focused mission of IPR and have a desire to contribute to the industry.
Prior to the University of Pittsburgh, Stonesifer worked for more than a dozen years as a newspaper reporter for various publications around the Pittsburgh region, as well as a content creator for TV news stations in the city.
