Kelly Gilliam serves as director of the Pitt United Way Campaign, which she has championed at the University since 2019. Since she assumed leadership, six campaigns across all five of Pitt’s campuses have raised nearly $4.3 million for the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Gilliam first joined the University in 2015 in the Office of Human Resources.
Beyond Pitt, she serves as pastor of Shiloh Church alongside her husband and as executive director of Life Builders, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives, building families and strengthening communities. An entrepreneur and two-time breast cancer survivor, Gilliam leads with passion, resilience and vision.
Active in her community, she serves on the board of South Park Youth Football and Cheer and previously coached football for four years. Gilliam also is a devoted wife, mother, and proud grandmother of three energetic grandsons.
